Threads broken?

The last automatic crosspost to Threads from my account was three days ago. Did something break?

I have found that Threads will occasionally, with 0 indication from Threads or Micro.blog, basically “expire” your token and require a reauthentication. Just happened to me a few days ago. Seems to be about an 8-12 week cycle.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll try reenabling. I disabled but it doesn’t seem to want to authenticate on mobile.

Hopefully this will help until there’s a permanent fix.

Turns out it was Safari that wasn’t playing nicely. Had to use Firefox on my Mac.

I’ve made some improvements today to make sure Micro.blog refreshes the authorization with the Threads API, so disabling and re-enabling shouldn’t be needed anymore.
