Is there a way to have a home page and then a blog page?

I would like to have a home page, and then on a separate page actually have /blog/ with it’s own CSS and everything.

The current ‘Pages’ feature is very confusing and I’m not entirely sure where to go from here.

Thanks for the response. I managed to have my own home page, but I want a separate blog page. Is this something achievable? If not, I’ll have to go back to blot for blogging.

I had the same issue using the Custom Home Page plug in. I ended up creating category pages for long and short posts and adding them to the nav.
