What exactly does this ’Import posts to blog’ setting do?

I know the ‘Add posts to timeline’ option creates a timeline entry like this,

without actually adding anything to your site.

Does that ‘import posts’ option copy the full contents of the RSS entry over as a post to your micro.blog, or just the title and url like it does for the timeline?

The full content from feed items will be imported to your blog. So it’s a good idea to test the import option on your test blog before importing to your main blog. To make sure the result is what you want.
