We’re always working on improvements to Micro.blog. Here are some of the features and bugs we’re working on:

We’ve recently finished these changes:
- Redesigned the web interface and native apps with new navigation and icons.
- Renamed favorites to bookmarks, expanding how they work with support for archiving web pages and making highlights.
- Added multiple account support without signing out on iOS.
- Added editing pages and managing uploads on iOS and macOS.
- Launched Sunlit 3.0, an Instagram-like photo sharing app built on Micro.blog. It’s open source.
- Added new books search and book covers interface.
- Added following Tumblr blogs and IndieWeb sites by domain name. Improved the username search.
- Performance improvements to publishing new blog posts.
- Added plug-ins system for extending your blog with new features.
- Improved the custom theme editing interface.
- Added support for ActivityPub with replies to and from Mastodon and your blog. Get your own Mastodon-compatible username using your own domain name.
- Added a Markdown preview button when writing a new post in Micro.blog on the web.
- Added “Show More” button to the timeline and mentions on the web.
- Added user muting under Account → Edit Muted Users, and mute and block commands in the macOS app.
- Added reading view for articles saved via Indiepaper.
- Fixed typing and pasting issues in the new post field on Android.
- Increased MP3 file upload for podcasts to 35 MB.
- Added podcast settings for email address and using your “about me” text as the podcast description.
- Added support for cross-posting to Facebook pages after Facebook turned off previous posting API.
- Updated web following list to show who you aren’t following yet.
- Added support for IndieBookClub.
- Added ability to set custom footer HTML in any theme.
- Improved authorization so Micro.blog is an IndieAuth provider.
- Improved reliability of photo uploads.
- Added timeline option (under Account on the web) to hide replies from people you aren’t following.

- Improved @-mentions from regular, non-reply microblog posts to auto-link usernames. If the post starts with an @-mention, it will be stored separately and not cross-posted to Twitter.
- Improved cross-posting to extract inline links and append them at the end of the tweet.
- Updated links and Twitter cross-posts to use custom domain names.
- Added Markdown and auto-linking URLs in mentions.
- Added showing conversation view in iPhone from push notifications.
- Added a Discover page on the web and in the iPhone app to find users.
- Fixed uploading large photos from the iPhone app.
- Fixed slow publishing of new posts.
- Fixed feeds refresh not working for some sites.
- Fixed escaping HTML in new posts and replies on the web.
- Fixed invites not showing the correct Kickstarter reward.
- Fixed dates on timeline not reflecting current timezone.
- Fixed custom CSS being cleared and not included in Primrose theme.
