I’ve bounced to and from micro.blog (because of newsletter design issues) with different user names. I’d like my old user name, @gebloom, back because I use it everywhere else and want to use it on micro.blog, and I have a mastodon.social/@gebloom account but would move that also to micro.blog). When I attempt to change it from @nomdegar to @gebloom, the message says”unavailable,” but I’m sure that’s from history. Any way to accomplish that?
Send a quick email to help@micro.blog and we can sort this out. It looks like you still have an old account using @gebloom, so if you have access to that old email address you can sign in and either use it again or delete it so it will let you get that username back for a new account.
