Unicode in Categories

I would like to add the category “Bücher” to my micro.blog.

But the german character “ü” is ommited, so i end up with “Bcher”.

Are category names limited to ASCII?

I think we can improve this in Micro.blog so that it shows “Bücher” in the name but “bucher” for the URL. I’ll look into making that change soon if we can.

Thanks, that would be a good solution for me.
The URL is not important for me, the showed words / terms are more important.
