Trying to work with Tiny Theme

I’m trying to get some things set up in Tiny Theme and need some assistance in understanding what the (*&() I’m doing… lol

What I would like to do is setup the home page for my site to look like the Hugo blog awesome theme, but with the pagination by year.

Is there a good tutorial some place on Hugo themes / Tiny Theme? Or, even better, is there a library of templates already created for Tiny Theme, and maybe microhook snippets?

I should have updated this before. I finally figured out how things were working, and how to make the changes I needed.

(This was really the case of a dev taking over a codebase they had zero familiarity with. It took some time, but I eventually started understanding the structure, logic, etc.)
