Trouble Swapping Out a Sticky Domain

I intentionally let the domain I’d had previously pointed to my primary blog expire on the 29th of last month (extratone.blog) and purchased a new domain (davidblue.blog) within Micro.blog. The latter is configured correctly insofar that I am able to point it to a new test blog succesffully, but I can’t seem to get it to stick in the Design settings page to my primary blog.

Over the past few weeks I’ve tried:

  1. Hard refreshing my browser to make sure it wasn’t a cache issue.
  2. Rebuilding the primary blog on the logs page.
  3. Resetting the DNS configuration of both domains and assorted fiddling.

Apologies if this has been addressed here before… I promise I tried my best, but I seem to be quite inept at Discourse queries.

Sometimes Micro.blog takes a long time to notice DNS changes… I haven’t figured out why exactly, but I’m looking into it. In the meantime, I’ve manually updated your blog to use davidblue.blog. Let me know if you notice any problems!
