But when I try to add them via micro.blog, their most recent post is March 11:
ActivityPub can be kind of weird about this-- the way the caching works, if no one else is following this account on Micro.blog the data may be stale until you do.

I’ll keep an eye on it. I think I must be the first follower on a number of accounts because this keeps happening 
I’m still hoping to improve this so that we can show recent posts for these accounts, so it doesn’t look broken. But as soon as you follow them, it will start sending you new posts.
