Hello there, if I find someone on Micro.blog’s “discover” search by way of their federated Threads account, should I not expect to see all of their latest Threads posts on my timeline? I just followed a few of my favorite accounts from Threads on Micro.blog and I see they have posted a ton to Threads in the past day or so, but I don’t see those same posts in my Timeline.
I think that one is solved. I expected to see the accounts’ previous posts, but in reality I only see posts from them once I started following them. Tomato, Tomahto.
But now a new issue, Threads users in my timeline are missing their profile photo.
Yah the way ActivityPub works is you don’t see things on your spot from before the time someone on your instance follows them.

I’m working on improving the profile photos. Threads account image URLs change frequently so we need to be a little smarter about how we handle that. Thanks!
