Hi! I am tracking support of RFC 9421 by various Fediverse servers, and this is my request that micro.blog support this standard. As a community, we’re trying to move from the old draft-cavage-12 to something more stable, better documented, and ready to support more advanced cryptography.
To support RFC 9421, micro.blog will need to:
- Accept RFC 9421 signatures on GET requests (objects, actors, collections)
- Accept RFC 9421 signatures on POST requests (inbox, sharedInbox)
- Send RFC 9421 signatures on GET requests
- Send RFC 9421 signatures on POST requests
There’s a big matrix of implementations and their support here:
It’d be great to see some of those red X’s for micro.blog turn into green checks!
