I’m not sure if this is the place for feature requests, but it’s a bummer that there’s no preview button while you are editing a draft (similar to what you get when making a new post)

Agreed about not having a preview button for drafts. We do need one there.
Came looking for an answer to this and it appears it was already asked about.
In addition, I’m surprised there isn’t a front-end preview, not just within the editing UI. Something as simple as a query parameter, which yes, anyone could append to a post and see a draft, but they’d have to know the slug and date parts of the path too, so doubtful it would become a huge issue.
