I’m using my blog exclusively to post photos and enjoying it a lot so far, but can see some speed limitations possibly setting in soon.
I’ve tried to find answers always published here in the forum and didn’t see anything — sorry if I’m repeating stuff, though.
These are great questions that are a bit challenging to answer generally, as they depend on which theme and plug-ins a blog is using and the skills the blog owner possesses.
It looks like your blog’s current theme and plug-in combination lazy loads images in their full size (not as thumbnails) on the Photos page.
Most tasks in life get simple and easy once you know how to do them. For anyone comfortable with Hugo theme development, adding pagination and listing categories should be straightforward. But, there’s no ready-to-install plug-in that I’m aware of, unfortunately.
