I’ve got Pagefind enabled on my site but it seems to have trouble indexing it. According to the logs, the process starts, but it only occasionally finishes and synchronises:
The “pagefind-ui” CSS and JS files are also missing, resulting in a broken search page. I’ve been rebuilding my blog a few times recently, and I can only assume these are cleared out and restored when Pagefind runs. But if they’re missing, I can only assume that Pagefind is erroring out for some reason.
Actually, yes it’s been working quite well yesterday as I was making all those design changes. I think it happens when I go to Logs and attempt to rebuild the blog from scratch. I’ve not done that for a few days (I was under the impression that rebuilding from scratch is necessary for a full reindex, but Pagefind seems to pick up all the attribute changes I was making yesterday).
I could try and rebuild from scratch if you’d like me to reproduce. Otherwise, we can close this ticket and I’ll avoid rebuilding from scratch.
