No email from name.com

I never received an email from name.com to verify my contact information, so I do not have access to transfer my domain away from micro.blog. I contacted name.com and they were not able to give me any information (which makes sense after I asked). I am able to view the auth code, but I cannot unlock the domain because I do not have a name.com account.

What do I need to do to transfer my domain away from name.com / micro.blog.

I’ll unlock your domain name. If you transfer it away, make sure to disable auto-renewing in Micro.blog too with the “Cancel” button when managing the domain name in Micro.blog.

This is confusing but there’s not actually a way to sign in to Name.com. We use them to handle the registration but managing it still has to be done within Micro.blog.
