New domain but seeing old domain in permalink

Hi there - I recently changed my domain to ploafmaster.com - it was danielwarshaw.com before I sort of humiliatingly lost it. But even now, a few days later, new posts are using danielwarshaw.com in the permalink URL, and I can’t seem to find where in my settings or theme files to update this. Any help?

Have you added the new domain name to your blog settings page (Design → Blog Settings)? From what I can tell, it already seems to be working.

Not quite working…you can see here from my timeline that the permalink is still showing danielwarshaw.com instead of ploafmaster.com:

I see that right now, and up until this morning it was the same on the website itself.

is it just a matter of time for the change to propagate to all parts of the system?

Might be worth trying a full rebuild, found here: Micro.blog

The example you shared, was that a timeline post from before you switched to the new domain name in your Blog Settings? A later timeline post (“Forty-four”) shows the new domain.

I’m pretty sure (though not 100%) that Micro.blog doesn’t automatically update old timeline posts with the new domain name. But maybe @manton can jump in and give us the official answer.

That example was from the same time as the reply where I shared it (went and took the screenshot for the reply). But yeah, seems like maybe it’s just slowly making the change across my site.
