Looking for a simple way to have multiple photo pages and directing images there based on categories. Goal is to be able to have one page / gallery for the more high quality items and another page / gallery for all the nonsense snaps from the phone.
Current solution is to use on category to filter the quality items going into the default photos page and then another category, linked in the top nav, for the snaps. It sort of works but the downside is that I get a lovely gallery for one and list of posts for the other.
There is no simple way unless someone builds you a plug-in just for this.
The way I’d know how to do it is to edit your categories index page to provide a different layout, akin to the photos page, for the category that you are using for photos.
Apologies for a) the late reply and b) the newb question … I think I might be savvy enough to fiddle with the manual edits (or at least learn how) but I struggle with where to start … where are / how do I access the pages to even begin editing? Poked around the options on the accounts page and am coming up blank. Thanks again for the initial reply!
