Like the title says. When I try to cross post from the web to Threads I get plus signs instead of spaces.
I’m on iOS 18.2 beta.
Huh that’s strange. I do not have that with my crossposting.
Certainly is weird. It only happens with Threads and if I copy the URL for the threads posting intent in the iOS browser directly, it takes me to the Threads site instead of the app, and that works fine. So it’s something to do with the Universal Link and the Threads app handling of it, I assume.
Ah, well my crossposting is automatic, so at least I understand a bit more the difference. Yeah, this probably is threads not decoding content in a URL when pasted like that.
Mine was automatic but I didn’t realize until yesterday that it had stopped working months ago. Anyway, I’ll keep an eye on it to see if it starts to work on its own after an update or two of the Threads app.
