Links break when crossposting to BlueSky

I like the idea of POSSE (post on one site, syndicate everywhere) but it breaks down for me when cross posting links from micro.blog to BlueSky.

You can see one that happened today here: Bill Bennett

If you look at the micro.blog post, the URL I link to is truncated, but the actual link remains intact.

The link breaks in the BlueSky cross post, but works fine with the Mastodon cross-post.

Here is the Mastodon version of my post. You can see the link works perfectly:

But with BlueSky, it truncates:

This is not the first time I have posted here about the problem, but I find it really frustrating.

There’s an issue we recently discovered where cross-posting to Bluesky from RSS feeds loses the inline linking and photos. It works correctly for JSON Feeds, so I’ve updated your feed to use JSON instead. It should start working now!
