I migrated my micro.blog Fediverse account to another instance but I’m still double posting. This is a problem because when I use a hashtag, the post shows up with my preferred Mastodon account and my micro.blog account in the hashtag feed. I only want to post to Mastodon using my preferred account. How do I accomplish this?
I’m looking into making a change so that when your account has been migrated, it disconnects your Micro.blog account from the fediverse. Should be ready pretty soon. Currently, the only work-around is to cancel the move and then use the “Reset” button to delete your fediverse profile.
This should be better now. If you have migrated an account, posting to your blog will no longer send those posts to the fediverse.
