When someone replies to your post that is cross posted to Mastodon, do you want to see those replies on Micro.blog? That’s what the first option gets you (it’s new).
The second option says “keep mastodon replies only visible if I go log into the cross posted account”.
doesn’t seem to work as such: if I check the second choice, I still see mastodon replies in /mentions from the connected mastodon account. Not only to cross-posted posts, but ALL my mastodon replies.
After changing the setting, it doesn’t currently clear any previous replies, so they will still be there. But any future replies will be ignored. Let me know if that’s not what you’re seeing!
ah, ok, will let you know. But right now it doesn’t show replies to specific posts but all replies an account gets, on any post.
