Images aren't displaying on my site

I’ve just published a new post, only to discover that images are not displaying on my site.

A text link to mastodon appears at top left, too: I placed a verification link in the site header, using the Meta Tags plug-in. Could this have caused the images not to display?

Also, shouldn’t the Mastodon verification link be invisible?

Thank you,
John

If you can share a link to the post, I’ll check it out and see if I can figure out what’s up with the missing image.

For the verification metadata, make sure it’s a link element, not an a element, if you’re putting it in the head.
