How does upgrading work halfway through an annual subscription?

I don’t want to wait until next April to move up to Premium.

Last year, when I switched from a monthly to an annual subscription, my account was prorated.
I think it still works that way, so you can change your subscription whenever you want.

That’s right. It will prorate the charges and only charge the difference for the remaining time on the current billing period. So if you are on monthly billing and go from $5 to $10 halfway through the month, it should add on $2.50.

I’d like to improve this to actually preview the charge.
