Hello theme 1.0.7 incompatible with Hugo 0.117+ (RSSLink)

Hi!

the current Hello theme 1.0.7 fails to build with Hugo 0.117 and newer because layouts/partials/head.html still references the removed .RSSLink field. The issue already appears to be fixed on the theme’s master branch but not updated?

Hugo 0.91 seems to be the latest version that works with Hello 1.0.7.

Hope this is the right place to ask. Appreciate the help and this great community.

Thanks for mentioning this! I’m going to test Hello theme again with all versions of Hugo we support. I’ll update the version number today so that it will appear with an “Upgrade” button on the Plug-ins page, as soon as the fix is ready.

I figured out that if you had the original version of the Hello theme that we used to bundle in with Micro.blog, not the latest plug-in version, this error could still happen. I’ve fixed that. However, a quick check on your blog still shows the .RSSLink error, so I think maybe there’s an edited template or other plug-in on your blog that’s still using it?

I removed every other plug-in, so the only installed plug-in now is Hello theme 1.0.7. Custom CSS is also empty.

With Hugo 0.158 I still get the same build failure in partial “head.html” / .RSSLink.
