Fediverse vs AT Protocol

Hey, just wanna check if my understanding is right…

I just have a Micro.one plan. I’m not very interested in cross-posting or having a Bluesky account. When I reply to someone on the Fediverse, they will see my reply, but if I reply to someone on Bluesky, they will not?

That’s correct. We need to update this to show an error message when trying to reply to Bluesky. The reply sort of goes into the avoid, visible on Micro.one but not visible on Bluesky.

For the fediverse with Micro.one, all replies go back and forth to Mastodon.

What about just not showing the reply button? Or you could go to a page that encourages upgrading.

How can I verify this? I have replied to two posts on Mastodon; my replies show in the “Conversation” page on micro.blog, but they do not on the Mastodon conversation page.

It can be a bit of a challenge since the fediverse is, well, federated. There’s really no guarantee that your posts will appear everywhere. One helpful trick is to search for your username on a Mastodon instance. From there, you can navigate to your profile and check for your posts and replies.
