Exception when cross posting to LinkedIn

I got the following error message when trying to cross post an rss feed (from Mastodon) to LinkedIn:

Feed: Cross-posting exception: 44849540, /home/manton/snippets/models/item.rb:930:in `rescue in crosspost_with', undefined method `log' for nil:NilClass, NoMethodError

Are there special requirements regarding cross posting?

Could you make it to work? I was also planning to use this LinkedIn feature with micro.blog.
