Error when cross-posting to Mastodon

I saw the following error in the log when this post (Rickard Lindberg) was about to be cross-posted to Mastodon:

Feed: Cross-posting exception: 43150170, /home/manton/snippets/models/item.rb:1025:in `>', comparison of DateTime with nil failed, ArgumentError

Any ideas what have gone wrong?

I first edited the post as a draft if that helps.

I can’t even pretend to understand the error code, but it seems to talk about a missing date somewhere, if that makes any sense. This is probably a case for @help or @manton though.

When I did another post today, it worked.

Thanks for reporting that. This looks like a bug in Micro.blog that I’ll fix. The good news is it probably could only happen one time and should work correctly from now on.
