Crossposting photo posts to Mastodon and Bluesky

Something about posting lots of photos, and how it only publishes four photos to Mastodon and Bluesky. I know why it happens, and I wouldn’t even like to crosspost a larger amount of photos, but unless I write a longer post or set a title (to force a long post) I’m not getting the link to the original post. And with that I feel content is lost in the crosspost.

Is there a way to force adding the post link in a short post? Because sometimes I just want to share a bunch of photos and don’t want a long post.

That’s a really good point, sending only 4 out of 5 photos is a form of truncation, in a way. I think we should always link back to your blog post in that case. I’ll make that change.

We could also have a setting to control this, but let’s make this smarter first and see if it’s still needed.
