Cross posting selection not possible when scheduling post or after saving as draft

When creating a new post you can show (by selecting the three dot icon on the upper right of the new post) the categories and the cross posting channels, but as soon as you save the post as a draft or schedule the post, the cross posting option is no longer available. The categories are still visible and can be modified, but you cannot enable or disable a cross posting channel anymore.

Selecting seems only to work when creating a new blog post and then immediately send it, as soon as you save it as a draft or schedule it, that cross posting option is gone.

Is that a bug or intentional? If intentional, can this be changed so that the cross posting option is available for scheduled posts and saved drafts?

It’s a limitation that we’d like to change. If you set cross-posting options and then save as a draft or scheduled post, the cross-posting services will be preserved for when the post is actually live. So they “work” but you can’t change them after creating the post!

Ok that is good to know, so at least that way it is a workaround for now. Would be nice though if that will be changeable at one point in the future …

This has been improved. You can now edit cross-posting for a draft or scheduled post.
