Is there any way to bulk delete posts? I want to delete about 500 old posts.
There’s no way to do that in the official clients/apps. There might be third-party clients out there with support for bulk deletion or, if you’re comfortable with scripting, you could write a script using one of the Micro.blog APIs.
As @sod says, a third-party client is the easiest way to do this. If you’re using a Mac this can be done with MarsEdit.
What third party web or Windows client can do this? I’d like to work with posts in bulk, and this is what is keeping me from fully switching.
I’m not aware of any web app for or that includes this feature. I also don’t think there is any Windows app for Micro.blog at all.
I’d also like to see better controls to do batched processing, as well as more non-Apple options in general; unfortunately the intentional small size of the network means this probably won’t happen for a while, if at all.
