Hiya. I am trying to move a Currently Reading book to Finished and Want to Read book to currently. I can’t get it to work. I’ve done the changes for each book, rebuilt the site, and refreshed my screen—nothing seems to work.
When you move a book from Currently Reading to Finished, does it update in the Micro.blog interface, but just not on your blog? Also if you want to share the ISBN or title of the book, I’ll check that too.
Just trying to understand where the problem is. Thanks!
Hi Manton, sorry for the delay.
It does not update on the micro.blog interface. I click on the “i” > change the drop down > click update > I see the list and the window saying it’s updating the blog. Then everything stays the same, except when I click on the “i” again it displays the proper bookshelf type.
When I click on the book itself and click the button, “move to currently reading” it moves the book.

I finally figured it out! Sorry about the delay. Somehow your “Currently reading” bookshelf had its type set to “finished”, which confused everything in the UI. I’ve fixed your account so “Currently reading” is categorized correctly.
If any books are still not in the right place, moving them now should update them.
I’ll also try to better detect this problem in Micro.blog in the future so it won’t happen again. Thanks!
