On the web, any reason why the bookmarklet opens the Micro.blog bookmarks page on top of the original page instead of a new tab or a popup, as most bookmarked sites do? I rather bookmark it and click out to return to the original page.
No specific reason, just kind of the default. Do you have a good example of a bookmarklet that you think handles this well?
The usual bookmarker sites (delicious, pinboard, etc.) had a popover, but I think now most (Quotebacks, OMG.LOL, Drafts, etc.) moved to opening it in a new tab; sometimes those new tabs close automatically when you are done bookmarking/posting which is kinda neat. But in all cases, it leaves the original tab alone.
