Add categories on pages

I recently modified single.html so categories are displayed at the bottom of my posts. However, they do not show on pages. What template is used for page layouts?

It depends on the theme, but probably you have two single.html:

• layouts/post/single.html
• layouts/_default/single.html

The latter is the one applied to pages.
