I pitched this idea to @manton a while ago. Basically, it’s a version of the Photos page, but instead of pictures, the page would display a world map with pins for posts that have coordinates in a specific field.
I’m not a developer, so I used AI to help me build it on my website (you can check the final product here). But I can see this as something much easier to implement and use as a plugin. Or maybe a Micro.blog feature. One can dream, right? 
So, I added the instructions and code to GitHub and published an article with a bit of extra context. Perhaps someone with real coding skills would like to improve on this.
