3 most recent posts don't appear on my site

The three most recent posts on my blog, have not appeared on the site. I don’t see any errors in the log.

Seeing some similar issues. From micro.blog I can see a sort of “CSS-less” version of the post that said something like “This page is not fully published yet” at the top.

I tried using the “Rebuild” button at the top of the ‘logs’ page and initially it didn’t seem to help, but then suddenly the new posts appeared.

I’ve experienced similar issues over the last number of hours today. Sounds like maybe some service somewhere might need to be bumped. Not sure.

In addition to the above behavior, what I observe is that some of the posts from tonight keep appearing and disappearing from my blog.

Ditto! That was happening last night, and now, this morning, those three posts are invisible again.

I’m seeing "The page you requested is still being published. It should be available soon."

Same here, “The page you requested is still being published. It should be available soon.” I have tried rebuilding the site. No errors. The initial publish didn’t even get the new post into the discovery feed and didn’t send the Bluesky message as I expected, those only took place after the rebuild. Same thing literally happened to me within the last 10 minutes. I did a full site rebuild, and the article is now showing up.

I noticed the issue because it did show up on Mastodon for me… If I hadn’t been watching for the post to publish I probably wouldn’t have noticed the issue for hours…

Taking this back… When I checked from Micro.blog I can see the published article, but following the link to the article from Mastodon is still showing the “still publishing” version of the post.

Something is going on here, I’ve let @manton know about it.

When I look at my log, my blog seems to be stuck in an endless loop of “Feed: Downloading feed”.

Mine doesn’t do that…just one update to the JSON feeds after a rebuild:

Sorry about this! The problem was on one of our servers but not all of them, which explains the inconsistency. I’ve fixed it and new posts and images should appear correctly now on your blog.

I ran a rebuild on my blog after the fix and that seemed to work – thanks!

This is happening again this morning.

@manton It looks like Holliday and Lily are having issues this morning.

(I’m confused why a server that is listed as decommissioned in your blog is still part of the build chain…)

@manton @sod Also a thought…

Is there any monitoring in place for the servers? Both at the hardware and application levels? Seems like it would be a good idea to set something up so you could get notice and deal with these issues instead of users having to report them. Or, at a minimum, maybe put a status page someplace so we can check the servers before reporting an issue…
