Not to answer for anyone building the app, but, I’m pretty sure there are no plans for a native Windows app. I’ve never seen that discussed. And I’m pretty sure that the web editor is very intentionally not WYSIWYG and not likely to become WYSIWYG, based on what I’ve seen in the past.
Any app that can post to the XML-RPC/Metaweblog or Micropub standard can be used with Micro.blog though. So it’s quite possible some of those have the web or Windows experience you’re looking for.
