Ulysses Line Break

Curious if anyone knows the Unicode character Ulysses use for Line Break. HTML export converts to <br/> and Markdown export keeps it as whichever invisible character it uses … which is also respected within the Micro.blog post. Super useful for poetry.

(And yes I’m being lazy or I’d go all the way to the desktop and sort it out myself)

I looked at Ulysses own XML-based file format, .ulysses, and found newlines represented by bytes E2 80 A8 which resolve to Unicode U+2028 Line Separator.

I’m a fairly non-technical user and struggled with line breaks when publishing from Ulysses to micro.blog as well. This post: Daniel Kuney - Pens took me ages to work out the line spacing!
