Wondering if it’s possible to change how/which RSS items Micro.blog chooses to import. Right now when I add a RSS feed to import, it imports X number of items in the past which is great. But as we go on, is it possible to ask it not to import posts from the past?
E.g., I use Glass to import photos. But sometimes I like to import the same photo directly to Micro.blog as part of a macro post and I want to delete the auto-import from Glass. I’ve done that in the past but it re-imports it in the next run.
Yup. That would suffice. I think EchoFeed does it well, i.e., if an item is imported once, it doesn’t try to import it again even if you delete it. But that may be coz it doesn’t have access to what’s already imported once the action is complete.
I suspect this would require Micro.blog to track guids and ensure the source feed never changes the guid (which they’re not supposed to, but many feed creation pathways do).
