Importing bar archives doesn't work

I have a bar archive from a micro.blog site that I’ve deleted. I’ve always assumed that I should be able to import a bar archive and it should import both the entries and the photos … and it does, but not in the way that I was expecting.

It imports all the photos from the archive and it imports all the entries, but unfortunately the links to the photos points towards to old site. So there is no link between the entry and the photo (and since the old site is gone, no photos are displayed).

Unless I’m misunderstanding something, this seem to be a bug in how imports are handled

Thanks, I’ll take a look at this. Right now it doesn’t make any assumptions about updating the photo URLs. After the import finishes, you might be able to fix it all in one step by using Micro.blog’s find-and-replace tool to rename the old URLs.
