Can the navigation menus have drop-down sub menus?

I’d like for my navigation menu to have submenus. Is that possible? For instance, a menu item that links to a page called Recipes, and when you hover over it, a drop-down menu appears for other pages, like Breakfasts, or Beverages.

I’ve tried a few different themes and there doesn’t seem to be any way to do this, but I’m not familiar with Hugo (and this is such a common thing for a navigation bar to have that I’m wondering if I’m just missing it?).

In theory, there could be a theme or plug-in already out there, but I haven’t seen one. It’s definitely doable, though, with some HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Hugo knowledge.

Ahh, okay. I’m working on my HTML and CSS skills, and learning to install and run Hugo, so I’ll just have that in mind as something I might eventually try to build. Thank you!
