Is there a way to separate long-form and short-form posts? As in having the homepage only show the longform content, and then just have a link that redirects to all the what I guess I would call tweets as a menu item?
This can be done with a custom theme, and I think some people have done it, although I don’t think we have any documentation that covers it completely. Long-form posts have a title, so the theme can check if that exists. (Sorry I don’t have a more helpful answer right now other than “it’s possible”…)

A quick update: actually this help page does cover doing this with a category. You can set a filter to automatically assign long-form posts to a category, and then use that category on the home page.
